The Wait Is Over.

The 2026 NFL season kicks off this week, and Week 1 isn’t exactly easing us into it.

The defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks get the league’s first game, hosting San Francisco on Wednesday night before the rest of the opening-week schedule takes over.

And there are storylines everywhere.

The Cowboys and Giants meet in a game that immediately puts two new-look teams under the microscope. Dallas revamped its defense, while New York enters the season with a new-look offense and Jaxson Dart getting his first regular-season start.

Then there’s Kansas City and Denver, Buffalo and Houston, Green Bay and Minnesota, Philadelphia and Washington — and a full Sunday slate that finally gives us a real look at teams we’ve spent the offseason talking about.

Predictions are easy before anybody plays.

Once the games start, we find out which offseason moves actually mattered, which players are ready for bigger roles and which teams were being talked about a little too much.

There are rookies making their debuts, veterans changing teams, quarterbacks stepping into new situations and contenders trying to prove they belong in that conversation.

And after months of offseason moves, preseason snaps and training-camp reports, we’re finally getting the part that matters.

The games.

Week 1 is here.
