The first round of the 2026 WNBA Playoffs is almost complete, and the SUI Infirmary is changing with it.

Indiana and Minnesota have been eliminated, which means our injury board moves forward with the teams still fighting for a championship. Friday night’s winner-take-all matchup between Dallas and Golden State puts immediate attention on the Wings’ availability, while Las Vegas has an injury to monitor heading into the semifinals.

Dallas Has Multiple Names on the Injury Watch

Dallas enters Game 3 against Golden State with several players on the injury report.

Alanna Smith is out with a lower-leg injury. Her absence comes with the Wings facing elimination and trying to follow their overtime Game 2 win with another victory on the road.

Azzi Fudd remains out with a knee injury and is unavailable for the remainder of the season.

Awak Kuier is also on SUI’s game-status watch ahead of Game 3. With conflicting reporting around the specific issue, SUI is keeping her listed simply as a status watch until her availability and injury designation are clear.

Las Vegas Has an Injury to Carry Into the Semifinals

The Aces survived their first-round series against Indiana, but Stephanie Talbot missed the deciding Game 3 with a left-leg injury.

Las Vegas has advanced, so Talbot’s status now becomes one to monitor heading into the semifinals. The Aces will face the winner of Friday night’s Dallas-Golden State game.

Next Man Up

At this stage of the playoffs, an injury doesn’t just affect one game. It can change rotations, minutes and an entire series.

SUI will continue tracking player availability as the first round closes and the semifinal field is completed.

Next update: Dallas vs. Golden State, Game 3 — Friday night.
